Our Green Credentials

At Edge, we strive to be green! Every department has recycling facilities, ensuring we reuse and recycle all materials. We collect metals separately for bulk recycling and inspect wood for use in our furnace to keep the team warm.

Saving energy is crucial to our business plan. Therefore, we refurbished the building’s original glass block windows to minimise the use of our low-energy lighting during daylight hours. Additionally, we updated our fleet to hybrid or fully electric vehicles and integrated plug-in charging points into our parking scheme. To further reduce our carbon footprint and generate clean energy, we prepared the roof space of our properties for solar panel installation.

We actively promote cycling to work through our membership in the cycle-to-work scheme, allowing staff to purchase bikes at lower costs. As a result, many employees now cycle to and from our locations, and we installed showering facilities to keep them refreshed.

Furthermore, we vet our suppliers for ethical labour principles and support local and national charities through regular fundraising activities.
